Bret is originally from South Africa and Canadian born. He grew up near what they call the "bushveld", drawing much inspiration from his mother, who ran an organic farm and raised horses, also breeding dogs. In college, Bret also focused on Geography - modeling the watershed and analyzing planning impacts. For the last 10 years, Bret has worked in the US, gaining insights from working with both the publicrealm and within private environmental consulting firms.
